An Oldie But Goodie
And I'm not talking about the music. An "old" friend from college stopped by last week for a little over a day. Why, she must be at least three months older than me. We had fun going to the beach, then going to the beach again. And, we rented a kayak and tried that out on the big lake. What is that they say about friends? They're like M&M's? You know when you've picked a good one or something like that. Or maybe that was a wedg.....never mind. We saw a killer sunset too. It looked like Chicago was on fire.
By the way, you're all welcome to come and visit anytime (as long as I know you or you know someone I know). If you give me some warning, I might even clean the house for you.

That is a *sweet* picture of the sunset!!
Also, Mel B Marvis, you just crack me up! You're too funny!!!! :)
Cool pictures, looks like you got over the 'blog' days of summer & are on a real roll now. :)
Cool that you got to do some kayak & beach time!
Glad 'the itch' seems to be resolving!!
Speaking of oldies & goodies, I
thought of you when I was at the fair recently---when going by The Zipper I'm reminded of how our equilibrium & digestive systems can no longer handle 4 consecutive rides on The Zipper with little to no break between. :)
(I didn't go on it this time around at all. Hope I'm not becoming 'chicken' in my old age).
Hi Mel, I check up on you once in a while and get a chuckle once in a while, too. :-) I did enjoy the sunset picture. It reminded me of one we saw 20 years ago in Italy as we were walking up a mountain and looked back over the ocean. It look as if the sun was pouring into the ocean. Linda L in good ole Wyoming
