Name That Place

As I was reading through a magazine the other day, I came across this familiar sight. Do I have anybody who can name this place? Here's two hints:

  1. The conference mentioned at the beginning of the article was written about in the Winter 2007 issue of a magazine.
  2. If you've traveled somewhere with me in the last five years, your odds of recognizing this place increase.
For those of you who don't have the advantage of #2, you could always try googling it. Speaking of that, you know your company name or product has arrived when:
  1. The name of your company becomes a verb (for example, "google" it).
  2. An engineer/scientist names an electrical waveform after your product (the "Hershey Kiss" waveform).
Did I already talk about this once? It seems familiar, but I think I might have started forming the above thoughts a long time ago and then I never verbalized them in a post. I must be getting old if I can't remember something like that, and I'm too lazy to go back and check, so just deal with it if it's a repeat.

Gene and Esther both recognized it as Edinburgh. (Before reading Anna's guess) I didn't!

I guessed Edinburgh (yes before reading anna's comment), the mountain in the back was a dead give away especially for someone who hiked up it (by myself at that! :))
