Serious Stuff

Usually I try to keep my blog kind of light-hearted and amusing, but today I think it's worth mentioning a couple blogs that often inspire me because of the example that shows through them. The two blogs are Jen's and the Snellings'. These blogs are inspirational to me because they share some personal spiritual insights and struggles. And sometimes, it's good to have a reminder of how good our lives are AND a reminder to be thankful that they are so good. And, a reminder that there are many people who have all kinds of struggles you may or may not know of or see that could use your prayers.

Count your blessings! And like a quote on one of those blogs says, "The problem is not that there are problems. The problem is expecting otherwise and thinking that having problems is a problem." ~ Theodore Rubin

Sometimes I wish my blog could be more serious like those bloggers, but it's just not "me", so I guess I will continue to carry on in my blog "place" of being an amusing diversion for 1 minute every couple of days.

You're a good egg, Mel B Marvis. :) I wasn't sure if anyone has told you that lately, so I thought I would! :) Thank you for your kind words. Sometimes we *do* "wish" something different for our personality/character, don't we? But the reality is that each and every one of us offers something special and unique. Personally, you crack me up and have me laughing ALL the time!! I love it!! :) We all need that just as much as we need serious moments. So, appreciate what you offer because I certainly find it helpful often! :)

Ditto to what Jen said! I personally wish sometimes I had more of your insight & humor - but we are each our own unique being, so I guess the best we can do is appreciate each one for what they offer. I LOVE coming to your blog & getting a dose of smiles and laughter!! :) Have a great week!

Please don't change your blog style. It's a breath of fresh air. I love it.
