Old and Tired

Like my socks, that's what both my brown and black pair of shoes were.  It broke my heart to do it, but I decided that they needed to be retired from regular use.  I know you all think I probably bought lace-up pairs just like my old ones, but the store didn't have any of that type in my size, so horror of horrors I had to branch out a little bit in the footwear department.  No laces on the new black and new brown shoes.

I know I could have gone online and ordered some shoes with laces, but I'm very particular about shoes.  They have to fit just right, and I don't want to have to do all the trying on of shoes via mail order.

Just ignore the dirty kitchen floor in the pictures with the Sully hair.  It hasn't recovered yet from the Christmas company traffic.

New shoes look quite comfy, so hope they treat you well. I'm glad to see you exited your "box" to get them.:-) When you get to Chugwater this year I will try to remember to check these shoes out. Have a good year. Linda

To Anna: Maybe I am living paycheck to paycheck, and it's just that big. ;-) Yeah, right.

To Linda: Wow, you have more faith than I do that I'll be at Chugwater this year. Watch for a package soon!
