Snippets

When I bought my house many years ago, as I was diligently reading all the paperwork and signing it, I can clearly remember asking about how the escrow account worked.  They explained how it would be evaluated yearly, and if the account was slightly short, I would be charged more for the next year, and if there was any overage, I would get a check back.  I also distinctly remember them scoffing at the thought of ever getting a check back because "that never happens."  I'm here to tell you folks, that it does happen, and the sum was sizable (more than $1000).  I'm not saying it's a good thing, but it can happen.

I am thankful the boil water order lasted only about a day.  It's very difficult to remember not to rinse your toothbrush with the tap water.  The internet said there had been a break in the water pipe, and my house was in the "danger zone".  Apparently it wasn't too dangerous.

That's really all I've got here.  The Labor Day weekend is coming up, which I'm excited for.  That's about it.  Later peeps.
