That's right, I went to Iowa again for kayaking after taking a break from travel for a couple weeks. It was quite enjoyable. Jax and KarmX were there for the weekend as well. We took three sista woikas and another of Bex's friends with us paddling. It was very enjoyable.

The water on the lake was really high, so it was a different experience with almost all of the land covered. We weren't able to put in where we wanted to because the water was so high.

| Parking lot and dock we used at Memorial Day weekend were covered. |
We improvised and put in at a different place and just wandered around and explored the narrow passageways and stuff. It was very enjoyable and good fellowship. On Saturday evening we even managed to squeeze in a few games.

| The lunch platform - we were happy for a dry place to get out of our kayaks and stretch and eat and have some good conversation. |

Sunday we had the usual meeting and then lunch at Big Muddy's. On the way home we stopped by a swinging bridge that was renovated about 50 or 60 years ago. That was a fun little detour. All too soon it was time to take a quick walk with Uncle Bex to discuss life's conundrums and then head home. I headed home with a heart full of happiness and memories and a passenger seat full with a delicious sandwich and snacks and stuff.
